3: repeat row 2 (24)
4: *2 dc in next st, dc in next st* to end (36)

7: With red yarn, sc around (60)

(You can make the ears bigger if you feel they're too small by adding a row of 24 sc)

Attach yarn to hat
1: ch 2, dc 13 times (14)
2: ch 2, dc2tog, dc 8, dc2tog, dc
3: ch 2, dc2tog, dc 6, dc2tog, dc
4: ch 2, dc2tog, dc 4, dc2tog, dc

Leave a long tail for sewing.

Attach pom pom, ears and mouth to your preference.

Add black buttons for eyes using black thread.

For strings: using 12 long pieces of yarn, fold them in half, put the loop through the bottom of the ear flap, and pull the yarn through the loop. Braid.

Little Mermaid Costume - Updated

It's finally here. An updated version of my little mermaid costume (with proper math this time). Unfortunately, no adorable baby...
